The Draa valley is the largest, greenest and most beautiful valley in Southern Morocco with an amazing abundancy of palm trees. From here you make beautiful and varied walks through the valley, the mountains and the desert. A stay in Kasbah Berbère Ouriz brings you in direct touch with (or: immerses you in) traditional Moroccan life and the hospitality of the Berber culture.
At Kasbah Berbère Ouriz you are a guest of the Elkamili family: Abdellah and his wife Hanane, their three children Ayoub, Adam and Ryane and their niece/aunt Fatima. The Kasbah has comfortable rooms, various roof-top terraces with beautiful/astonishing views on the mountains and a lovely interior garden at your disposal.
What a welcoming family! Delicious food and a pleasant atmosphere. The Kasbah itself and the pal oasis is a beautiful place to be. Abdellah is a super guide. And tells in very informed and interesting ways about the people, the local practices and the Moroccan culture. He is also an excellent organiser and prepared our tours meticulously.
